With I/O 2024 a few weeks away, Google published a list of early sessions this morning, including “What's New.” There will be “150+ sessions and learning materials.”

There are four “focus” tentpoles:

  • mobile: Prepare for a range of audiences and form factors.
  • Web: Build fast, secure sites and apps for the open web.
  • A.I: Access the latest AI models and open source tools for machine learning.
  • the cloud: Simplify and scale end-to-end development.

The 16 topics/products are: Accessibility, AI/Machine Learning, Android, Angular, AR/VR, Chrome OS, Cloud, Design, Firebase, Flutter, Go, Google Play, Location/Maps, Smart Home, Wear OS, and Web.

More sessions should go live after the keynote on May 14. “Google Note” begins at 10 a.m. PT and will last for 2 hours. This will be followed by a “developer keynote” from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. [is] Releasing May 16th at 8am PT.
