The morning show Getting into the “fake news” business if the exhibitor has comments. Charlotte Stoudt are to be believed. Speaking to Deadline at a panel on his Contenders series, Stoudt spilled the beans on plans for a fourth season of the series, following the high-stakes acquisition and subterfuge storyline that dealt with the characters last year. Now, we’ll be looking over our shoulders with confidence that will become a rare commodity, and the truth will be more difficult than a good floor space in a Manhattan apartment. Stoudt said:
“We blew everything last year with the biggest bomb we could possibly make. So, we have to ask ourselves how is the band going to get back together, and what is that going to look like? We Enter the world of deepfakes and the fog of war we’re seeing now in the Middle East. We’re seeing who can be trusted. And can you believe what you see? Can you trust yourself? Can you trust your news outlet?”
How did ‘The Morning Show’ season 3 end?
Season 3 of the Apple TV+ hit series left nothing on the table. UBA anchor Alex Levy (Jennifer Anistonand Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) Paul Marx (Jon Hamm), a charming but timid tech billionaire. While having a romance with Alex, Paul was engaged in a plot to hide the flaws of his rocket program from the public and to extort UBA for parts. Meanwhile, Bradley wrestles with her own demons, having illegally deleted footage of her brother’s confrontation with a policeman during a riot at the Capitol.
After a violent clash with his occasional girlfriend Laura (Juliana Margulies) and clearing his boss Corey (Billy Crudup) of false accusations of harassment, Bradley decided to come clean and submit to the investigation. Amidst all this, Chip (Mark Duplass) broke on air, while Stella (Greta LeePlayed the role of a detective to help Paul track down the dirt. The scandal culminated in a dramatic ending, with Alex publicly denouncing Paul and UBA and escaping bankruptcy by merging with a rival network.
Now, as Season 4 begins, the stakes are even higher. Diving into the deep waters of deepfakes and AI, the series is set to explore the terrifying potential of technology that can warp reality itself.
